Product information

Our polycarbonate windows are hand crafted to order by our experienced UK based team. They are designed to be safe, strong and lightweight, making them ideal for motorsport. They are much stronger than glass and shatterproof, unlike Perspex and other acrylics, so you are well protected whilst driving.

Our standard windows are manufactured from 4mm thick polycarbonate to comply with Motorsport UK regulations, whilst we also 5mm FIA compliant and hard-coated options for those looking tougher windows.

All of our windows are available in a choice of clear, bronze or grey polycarbonate so can choose the windows that best suit your car. You also have the option to add window sliders to either one or both of the front door windows depending on your preference.

How long does an order take to ship?

We will confirm receipt of your order straight away and will be in touch if we have any questions regarding your order. Standard polycarbonate orders are usually manufactured and despatched within 1-2 weeks of the order being placed. Specialist orders - for example if you choose hard-coating plastic - will take longer, but we will contact you and discuss this with you. If you need your order by a certain date then please let us know.

Can I fit the window myself?

Yes, it is straight forward to remove an existing window and install a RacePlastics polycarbonate window. There are plenty of guides on YouTube to help you do this.

Can I collect the order myself?

Yes, we usually courier orders out to our customers, but if you contact us, we can arrange for collection from our Leeds factory.

How can I change my order?

If you need to discuss or change your order in any way, please get in touch with the team at the earliest chance. We will always try to accommodate any changes but costs may be incurred if the manufacturing process has already started.

The Vauxhall Corsa B rally car

The Vauxhall Corsa B, often overshadowed by more illustrious rally counterparts, holds a special place in the hearts of true grassroots motorsport enthusiasts. Introduced in the 1990s, this unassuming hatchback quickly gained a reputation as a formidable competitor in the world of rallying, especially in the junior and amateur categories. Its compact size and light weight made it an ideal candidate for nimble maneuvering through tight, twisty rally stages. Under the hood, the Corsa B's range of small yet spirited engines, particularly the 1.6-liter 16-valve unit, provided enough power to make it a sprightly contender against the clock. The car's front-wheel-drive setup, often seen as a disadvantage in the higher echelons of rallying, actually became its greatest strength in the hands of skilled drivers who exploited its predictable handling and excellent traction to slide and dart through corners with astonishing agility.

In the world of rally, the Vauxhall Corsa B didn't just compete; it excelled in teaching the fundamentals of rally driving. It became a staple in junior rally championships and a starting point for many aspiring rally drivers who later climbed the ranks to greater fame. The Corsa B's affordability and ease of modification made it a popular choice for those looking to break into the sport without breaking the bank. Its presence in rallies across Europe and beyond brought a unique flavor to the sport, often competing head-to-head with more powerful and expensive machinery, and sometimes, to the surprise of many, coming out on top. The Corsa B, in its rally guise, embodied the spirit of grassroots rallying: it wasn't about having the fastest or the most sophisticated car; it was about skill, passion, and the pure joy of driving. Today, the Vauxhall Corsa B holds a fondly respected legacy in the rally community, symbolizing a bygone era where enthusiasm and talent were as important as the car you drove.
