Buying a set of windows for your car can raise a number of questions in your head - we have put the most commonly asked here, but feel free to contact us if you want to discuss any of these or other points you may have.

What is the difference between Lexan, Makrolon and Polycarbonate?

They are the same! Lexan and Makrolon are simply brand names for Polycarbonate from certain manufacturers. Other you may see are Cyrolon, Merlon, Tuffak, and Zelux.

Can I fit the window myself?

Yes! It is straight forward to remove an existing window and install a RacePlastics polycarbonate window. There are plenty of guides on YouTube to help you do this.

How long does an order take to ship?

We will confirm receipt of your order straight away. Standard polycarbonate orders are usually manufactured and despatched within 1-2 weeks of the order being placed. Specialist orders - for example if you choose hard-coating plastic - will take longer, but we will contact you and discuss this with you. If you need your order by a certain date then please let us know.

Can I collect the order myself?

Yes! We usually courier orders out to our customers, but if you contact us, we can arrange for collection from our Leeds factory.

Where do you ship to?

We can ship your order to where ever you are in the world. Shipping cost, however, may vary!

Can I get a large order discount?

If you plan to order large quantities or place a high value order then please do get in touch with the team. As we manufacture all our products we can offer discounts on qualifying orders.

How can I change my order?

If you need to discuss or change your order in any way, please get in touch with the team at the earliest chance. We will always try to accommodate any changes but costs may be incurred if the manufacturing process has already started.
