Vintage or historic number plates are things of beauty. That flash of black and silver where the eye expects the boring modern day plates, pulls your attention instantly. So we are delighted, as a DVLA approved number plate supplier to be able to provide these plates to car owners.

The DVLA Rules

Like all road legal number plates we supply, we need to get proof of ID (for example your driving licence) and proof that you are in possession of the vehicle (for example the V5C).

There are also a set of rules as to which vehicles are legally allowed to use these plates on the road. These are:

• The vehicle must be manufactured before 1 January 1980; and
• The vehicle must be registered with the DVLA in the historic vehicles class.

Installation

All our number plates are supplied with adhesive pads which quickly and neatly attach the plate to your vehicle, and will hold securely (this is the DVLA's recommended form of attachment).
